Holiday Party FAQ's

Who May Attend? Two adults per child: parents and/or legal guardians who have valid photo identification and can be processed through the Raptor database. Other family members or friends may attend only if:

1) He/she is accompanied by the parent/guardian of the student, OR

2) There is a signed note permitting the individual to attend the party.

Visitors without photo ID will NOT be permitted to attend.

Who Cannot Attend? No school age visitors are permitted to attend parties; this includes middle school and high school students.

What If I Don’t Preregister? Parents who do not pre-register should expect to wait in line for their ID’s to be scanned. The Raptor program is often slow due to heavy user traffic throughout the district on that day.

May I Eat Lunch with My Child? Parents are invited for the holiday parties only. We do not have space for all of our visitors to join us for lunch. Please do not drop off lunches that day, as students will be eating on a different schedule in their classrooms.

How Can I Avoid a Long Wait to Check In? Parents may pick up their preprinted badges on the day of the party by completing the pre-registration form that was sent home on Wednesday and turning it in to their child’s homeroom teacher no later than . Please complete only one form per family. Upon receipt, we will send home a note stating:

1) Your badge has been printed, OR

2) You must come in before December 16th and have your ID scanned.

How Can I Avoid a Long Wait to Check Out? Please check the appropriate box on the pre-registration form, or let the front office know that you plan to take the student (and any siblings) home after the party when you check in.
