At Jowell Elementary, we give our Jaguars many opportunities to develop leadership skills. One leadership opportunity we have is the ability to be a class Student Reporter. All of our Jaguars were given the opportunity to sign up to be a Student Reporter at the beginning of the school year. At the beginning of the week, the Jaguar Student Reporter is given a folder with a question for each day and instructions to answer the question in a complete sentence, keeping an eye toward a capital letter at the beginning and punctuation at the end. The folder is turned in at the end of the week and the Student Reporter becomes a published author on our website! Usually, we post these reports once a week; however, our district websites have been undergoing a facelift and we've saved some reports to ensure that they won't be lost when the content migrates to the new platform. We know our Jaguar Jamboree has been waiting for a month or so to get new reports, so let's get to it!
Jaguar Student Reporter from the week of November 18th was from one of our 4th grade classes. Read below to see what C. Henrichs had to say about their week!
