Student Reporter: C. Henrichs

December 18, 2019

At Jowell Elementary, we give our Jaguars many opportunities to develop leadership skills. One leadership opportunity we have is the ability to be a class Student Reporter. All of our Jaguars were given the opportunity to sign up to be a Student Reporter at the beginning of the school year. At the beginning of the week, the Jaguar Student Reporter is given a folder with a question for each day and instructions to answer the question in a complete sentence, keeping an eye toward a capital letter at the beginning and punctuation at the end. The folder is turned in at the end of the week and the Student Reporter becomes a published author on our website! Usually, we post these reports once a week; however, our district websites have been undergoing a facelift and we've saved some reports to ensure that they won't be lost when the content migrates to the new platform. We know our Jaguar Jamboree has been waiting for a month or so to get new reports, so let's get to it!

Jaguar Student Reporter from the week of November 18th was from one of our 4th grade classes. Read below to see what C. Henrichs had to say about their week!

Monday, November 18th
What made you smile in class today?
Today my class started another topic in Science and it's weather! I am so glad I get to learn more about weather!

When I was sad today my friends helped me feel better.

Wednesday, November 20th
What was the most popular game at recess today? Why did you think it was the most popular?
I think Jump Rope and Hula Hoop were the most popular games today because tomorrow is Field Day is tomorrow and so they might be practicing if they represent their team OR they might just be enjoying their Recess time!

I'd like everybody to know that most of our class (more than half) is athletic.

What made you laugh today?
Today during lunch me and my friend, Marisol, sayed "e! E!" over and over again! I found that very funny!
