Student Reporter: J. Writt

November 7, 2019

At Jowell Elementary, we give our Jaguars many opportunities to develop leadership skills. One leadership opportunity we have is the ability to be a class Student Reporter. All of our Jaguars were given the opportunity to sign up to be a Student Reporter at the beginning of the school year. At the beginning of the week, the Jaguar Student Reporter is given a folder with a question for each day and instructions to answer the question in a complete sentence, keeping an eye toward a capital letter at the beginning and punctuation at the end. The folder is turned in at the end of the week and the Student Reporter becomes a published author on our website!

Last week, our Jaguar Student Reporter was from one of our 3rd grade classes. Read below to see what J. Writt had to say about their week!
